When a patient needs to repair a damaged tooth or is in need of tooth replacement, we offer dental crowns and bridges as effective treatments that are less intensive than removal and replacement with a dental implant.
Crowns are common for mending damaged teeth that are at risk of decay or otherwise damaged. If your tooth is chipped, crowns serve the dual benefit of reinforcing it and protecting it from decay while also restoring the look of the tooth close to its original state. As such, crowns are applied on top of an existing healthy tooth.
Crowns are available in a range of different materials and substances. We’ll help you choose the best option to give you a look that matches your natural teeth and gives you ongoing comfort.
Types of crowns available include:
Dental bridges provide a solution for replacing missing teeth. A bridge is a new artificial tooth that is anchored to the other teeth adjacent to it, rather than a dental implant which is anchored to the jaw. You can replace a single tooth or multiple teeth with a dental bridge.
For a permanent solution, we install fixed bridges. However, bridges can also be temporary (often used in the process of installing a dental implant) or removable, depending on the treatment plan.
